Laser in the glass industry

Marking with lasers has been a firmly established industrial application of two-dimensional surface processing for more than two decades. Permanent, smudge-proof markings on drinking glasses, calibration marks, company logos, etc. can be applied without contact - even on curved surfaces. Marking within glasses", e.g. insertion of mousse dots in champagne glasses, is also possible.

Not only markings on glass are possible, but also the targeted removal of coatings. On glass bodies of any kind, coatings can be removed precisely and fully automatically by means of the SLCR laser systems, without attacking the underlying glass.
