In the rubber and tire industry, SLCR laser technology has been successfully established in the market for over a decade. The laser process for marking tire sidewalls is also an industrially established manufacturing technique. DOT codes, sequential serial numbers, logos, etc. can be easily applied to the tire sidewall. The tire is automatically picked up, detected, centered, positioned, marked and ejected by the system.

In addition to marking tires, the area of cleaning tires and tire molds with lasers has also increased in recent years. Here we have already brought several partially and fully automated solutions to the market in order to achieve a significant increase in quality compared to conventional cleaning methods. In the meantime, production processes are exclusively equipped with SLCR laser cleaning, e.g. in the area of pre-treatment for subsequent bonding or to create the highest quality standards in the area of mold cleaning. The laser works fast, clean, precise and non-destructive.
