Automated structuring of components in the hydrogen industry is subject to stringent requirements. SLCR laser systems are used for this procedure. To ensure clean and dust-free treatment, the fully automated system has a recirculating air extraction system with an output of 18.5 kW. A large robot ensures complete and safe component handling. This and similar system solutions are ideal for an existing production line, as they can be seamlessly integrated into the production process.

Production of electrically conductive surfaces, touch-free and fully automated. This laser system is used for the automated decoating of contact surfaces on battery boxes. With the help of CO2 lasers, up to 30µm cathodic dip coating and 80µm powder coating can be removed efficiently. The laser system also fits perfectly into a production process with high production rates thanks to two built-in drawers that can be alternately loaded and unloaded.

Automated exposure of contact surfaces on battery boxes is possible with this SLCR laser system. Coatings can be removed contact-free, dust-free and with consistently high quality. A rotary indexing table with gauge adjustment is used as the infeed technology.
The component surface is treated by laser precisely. A bulkhead on the rotary table prevents laser radiation from escaping during component changes and therefore enables continuous processing.

Immediately after the painting and drying process of the coating, the CO2 laser system reliably and cleanly removes layers of paint from the wheel domes. Quantities of up to 600 wheels per hour are no problem with a multiple version. The wheels are then immediately ready for further use without any post-treatment. The laser process is therefore faster and more environmentally friendly than conventional processes using chemicals.

A turnkey, hand-held system, equipped with a fiber laser with up to 1,000W laser power, removes contamination cleanly and thoroughly from a wide range of components at various locations.

When cleaning brake pads for subsequent coating processes, the process needs to be fast and effective. This is why two lasers connected in series remove all contaminants from the brake pad in a matter of seconds. The lasers are each set at an angle of 45° and therefore cover the entire top surface as well as the side edges. The system works cleanly and is easy to integrate into the work process.
